| | Sanjay Jatana, M.D., opens new office at Rose Medical Center | DECEMBER 14, 2010 | (DENVER) – Sanjay Jatana, M.D., a cervical spine surgeon and co-founder of Denver Spine in Greenwood Village, has opened a new office in the Founder’sambulatory surgery center located on Hale Parkway at Rose Medical Center in Denver. Jatana is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon and is the medical director of Rose Spine Institute. Jatana has performed surgeries at Rose since 2008, specializing in the treatment of complex disorders of the cervical spine, degenerative lumbar spine and microsurgery. He will continue seeing patients at Denver Spine, and also see patients on Friday’s in the new office, offering the same high-quality consultative and surgical services as the Denver Spine location. “Rose Spine Institute’s patient-centered program is committed to providing high-quality care and I’m proud to be a part of their team,” said Jatana. “The new office is more convenient for many of my patients and allows them to take advantage of Rose’s state of the art facilities.” Rose Spine Institute is designated a "Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery" by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Criteria for this designation includes a comprehensive evaluation of structure, process and outcome measures developed from expert physicians and medical organizations.
The Institute is also designated an "Institute of Quality Orthopedic Care – Spine Surgery" by Aetna. Institutes of Quality Orthopedic Care facilities are health care facilities that are designated based on measures of clinical performance, comprehensive services, access, efficiency of care and ability to provide both inpatient and outpatient procedures. |
